Alpha Dog - Barking Dog Roasters

Cupping Notes: Rich, Nutty, Chocolate, Citrus

Region: Sumatra and Guatemala

Process: Fully Washed

The coffee Victor grew up drinking, brewed extra strong in a French press. Alpha Dog is Peters personal blend. Like the Black Lab blend, we still roast and bag this coffee in honor of our history in Sonoma, as a remembrance of where we came from and of course because if we didn’t Victor would never hear the end of it.

A blend of Indonesia and Guatemalan coffees, Alpha Dog defining characteristic is its heavy chocolate, a rich almost syrupy body, light nutty notes with a slight sweet citrus on the end.
