Brazil – Cascavel Vermelha is a natural processed Brazil specific blend coming from 4 coffee regions of Brazil. Matas de Minas, Cerrado Mineiro & Sul de Minas regions in the state of Minas Gerias and Mogiana in the state of São Paulo. Named after the Portuguese term for “Red Rattlesnake” the name is derived from the red fruit notes found in the coffee and the importance of the rattle snake to the coffee growing regions of Brazil. They play a crucial role in keeping pests away from the coffee trees and the infrastructure that is needed to farm. This blend consists of naturally process coffees picked at origin and blended by a team in Varginha Mina Geris that manages the mill and warehouses for those who are partnered with them.
